The Government of Arunachal Pradesh launched Atma Nirbhar Krishi Yojana (ANKY) to strengthen the agricultural sector through a credit-linked subsidy model. The scheme supports activities such as farm mechanization, terrace farming, cultivation of cereals, pulses, oilseeds, vegetables, spices, plantation crops, post-harvest machinery, and agricultural infrastructure. By combining government subsidy with bank loans, the scheme reduces the financial burden on farmers and encourages investment in modern farming practices.
